Birleşik çünkü içinde yaşayanlar ve içinde yaşananlar, her an dışarı akıyor.

'They'll happen,' said Rampion, 'whether you count on them or not. Industrial progress means over-production, means the need for getting new markets, means international rivalry, means war. And mechanical progress means more specialisation and standardization of work, means more ready-made and unindividual amusements, means diminution of initiative and creativeness, means more intellectualism and the progressive atrophy of all the vital and fundamental things in human nature, means increased boredom and restlessness, means finally a kind of individual madness that can only result in social revolution. Count on them or not, wars and revolutions are inevitable, if things are allowed to go on as they are at present.'
Huxley, Point Counter Point, pp. 299-Dalkey Archive Press, 2004

Bu da neydi böyle Bright Eyes

This is the first day of my life
I swear I was born right in the doorway
I went out in the rain suddenly everything changed
They're spreading blankets on the beach
Yours is the first face that I sawI think I was blind before I met you
Now I don’t know where I am I don’t know where I’ve been
But I know where I want to goAnd so I thought I’d let you know
That these things take foreverI especially am slow
But I realize that I need you
And I wondered if I could come home
Remember the time you drove all nightJust to meet me in the morning
And I thought it was strange you said everything changed
You felt as if you'd just woke up And you said “this is the first day of my life
I’m glad I didn’t die before I met you But now I don’t care I could go anywhere with you
And I’d probably be happy”So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and seeBut I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different I mean I really think you like me

Calvin'den Hayatın Gerçekleri

"There is never enough time to do all the nothing you want"

"School is out! Free at last! And just six precious hours before bed to forget everything I have learned today!

"That's one of remarkable things about life. It's never so bad that it can't get worse..."

This my excavation and today is kumranEverything that happens is from now onThis is pouring rainThis is paralyzedI keep throwing it down two-hundred at a timeIt's hard to find it when you knew itWhen your money's goneAnd you're drunk as hellOn your back with your racks as the stacks as your loadIn the back and the racks and the stacks are your loadIn the back with your racks and you're un-stacking your loadI've twisting to the sun I needed to replaceThe fountain in the front yard is rusted outAll my love was down In a frozen groundThere's a black crow sitting across from me; his wiry legs are crossedAnd he's dangling my keys he even fakes a tossWhatever could it beThat has brought me to this loss?On your back with your racks as the stacks as your loadIn the back and the racks and the stacks of your loadIn the back with your racks and you're un-stacking your loadThis is not the sound of a new man or crispy realizationIt's the sound of the unlocking and the lift awayYour love will beSafe with me
